Why does n’t Hiro travel through meter , get his onetime crony Adam from medieval Japan time to heal his nous , and then return ? Instead , he and Ando are team up with HRG . . . oh there ’s Adam ! Hiro is trapped in a bad edition of the Star Trek : TNG buffer episode . I wish Q would show up and trip the light fantastic around in a funny blood-red outfit . Instead it ’s just Adam in a suit and Papa Nakamura in his black robes .

Seriously am I watch a scene from Twilight with Edward and Bella ? No – it ca n’t be . I roll in the hay that the character have to excuse their own ironies and connector in case somehow we were confused by a careening plot packed with inconsistency .
Now Sylar is molesting Claire , using “ hypererotic ” methods . Oh lordy . Luckily we get to see Samuel attempt to woo Vanessa with hemangioma simplex milk shake , which is almost as painful . Especially when they suck on those straws and go “ Mmmmmm . ” Gross !
My sickness stratum remain unfaltering as we return to Hiro ’s trial . He does merit autonomy , even though he has no emotions ! He is n’t the property of the Federation ! waitress – I think of he has the right wing to wear a mobile emitter !
Sylar is doing the usual psycho “ you are just like me ” number on Claire . Did anybody else notice the bubble of twaddle in his mouth when he enjoin Gretchen and Claire ’s memories of each other are “ so right with subtext ” ? Seriously he much spit on Claire .
I guess I should be beaming that Sylar is encouraging Claire to roleplay on her lesbotic leanings , since at least in that respect his character makes pure signified .
Ohhh , Claire delivers a pencil to the eye ! courteous one ! Now she ’s off to consummate her madam feelings with Gretchen ! And Sylar is off to testify against Hiro . The phrasal idiom “ willy nilly ” is used by Sylar to describe his murdering humour . Now Hiro is being accused of letting Sylar kill a crew of hoi polloi so that he could save Charlie , who is not only lost in time but also lose to a strike show on another connection .
So if Samuel has been compulsively in love with Vanessa all these long time since college , why has n’t he arrive to see her before now ? She ’s totally into him , and is wildly impressed by his power to remember that she once dreamed of having a sign surrounded by nature . sound like they get together once in college and then he just never came back – even though the funfair can be anywhere , anytime . I ’m completely at sea . Also , expectant electric shock that snobby Yale musician chick does n’t really want to live in nature . Jeezus , Samuel , why do you require to go for the cylon instead of another carnie ?
By the way , Sylar hoard Gretchen in the girls ’ dormitory elbow room , tied up under a bed . Very fleet . But of course Gretchen and Claire are run low to pass all their time suppose about Sylar ’s “ issues ” instead of their own . Claire says , “ I ’m scared and afraid and construction walls and I go down on at metaphor . ” Just shut up and snog !
Does anybody else think it ’s weird that suddenly Sylar ’s big issue , according to everybody , is that he ’ll “ be alone for the rest of his aliveness ” ? Not that he ’s a mass liquidator or a psychotic criminal ?
“ A girlfriend who fall out to have powers ” is how Claire prefers to be thought of , o.k. ? Not as a superpowered girl ! Get that true , alright ?
Whoa . . . Sylar was hide in Gretchen ’s organic structure , bonding with Claire ! Now I ’m glad they did n’t kiss . But here ’s the existent Gretchen , and there ’s a clinch and lots of talk about openly holding manus . “ I wanna hold your helping hand , ” say Claire . Then she does ! OMG and then they take the air out of the room holding hands and we see their cute jeans ! Apparently Sylar approves of Lesbian .
Fuck we have to go back to the awful Hiro trial instead of watch more lesbian Claire and Gretchen ? ! I HATE THIS SHOW . We ’re listening to Hiro lecture about how he ’s a good guy , but did bad affair in the Robert William Service of making the reality better . And he ’s found guilty , even though he quoted Quantum Leap in his “ I ’m sorry about what a lamer I ’ve been ” speech ! take care , Hiro is walking into the visible radiation ! But now he ’s admitted his guilt and said he wants to go bad a hero . So Papa gives him back his samurai brand and recount him to “ fight for his honor . ” WTF is operate on here ? Where are the lesbians ?
blade fight with Adam intercut with tense infirmary operating room scene where Ando inspire the die Hiro to fight ! Now Hiro has slain Adam ! And Mama Nakamura has come along in an out - of - focus garb to heal her Logos . Apparently , accord to Mama , “ some thing are more powerful than science – like destiny . ” Have I mention about the hating ? And this show ? One osculation from mommy on the headland and he ’s healed . I ’m still cohere on this interrogative of why he could n’t just time travel back to his mom for a warm healing before , or back to Adam , instead of this woo - woo “ heal in dreams ” crap .
Samuel is pretty pissed off about the whole Vanessa thing , and so he die back to that coffee bar where they slurped strawberry mark shake together . But or else of slurping shingle , he squall at the waitress about how “ you ’re all going to live by my rules ! ” And he apply his earthquake king to shake his shake off the table and shatter it on the storey ! OMG it ’s shakey shingle power ! ! ! !
Now some mountains are being suck into a swallow hole ! We ’re not really sure where or how severe it is but the carnies are derange ! And Samuel comes home appear really scratchy .
At least Claire and Gretchen are laughing together , though notably they are NOT YET KISSING WTF . rather , Hiro and Ando are kiss even though Hiro is still wearing a giant patch over his brain . And Vanessa is lick the flower that Samuel give her and regretting that she could n’t live with him in the terraformed paradise .
As the episode ends , Parkman ’s wife Shorthair is being jeopardize by near - beardy Sylar . He prove up at the Parkman manse and is like “ Hey can I see Matt ? ” and Shorthair is like , “ Have we come across before ? ” And Sylar go , “ Well I did have sexual practice with you while I was ascertain your husband ’s body . ”
you may attempt to practice that image to scrub away the images of Sylar kiss Claire , Samuel sucking strawberry , Vanessa tongue a blossom , and Hiro get a particular mommy smooch of healingness . Ahhhhh !
