By official we think the Acer MP-500 finally has a ware Sir Frederick Handley Page , but regrettably it is on the German Acer page . Whatever , at least it is a start . The MP-500 actually seems promising , besides the odd semi - boxy shape factor . It supports DivX , XviD , MPEG-2 , MPEG-4 and WMV 9 for video play back . For the audio the MP-500 will only play MP3 and WMA . So basically Acer is tell apart iTunes users to go f themselves . It can also record audio frequency and picture and has a line - in , line - out and TV - out . It will be useable with a 20 GB hard drive and a 3.5 - inch screen for playback . The battery living is seemly : 4 hours of uninterrupted video playback and 8 minute of audio playback . The MSRP seems to be lingering around 350 Euros , or just about $ 440 .
