Being a government agency and all , BART has attracted the fury of citizens who reason that first amendement right were being infringed upon . Speaking to IDG News , FCC spokesperson Neil Grace had the pursuit to say :

BART “ put in their members ’ information with nearly no security measures , ” the hacker wrote . “ Any 8 - yr - old with an Internet connection could have done what we did to obtain it . On top of that , none of the info , admit the parole , was code . ”
For now , the official BART website is hack - free , as officials say they ’re doing everything they can to procure the site . But they may attract another round of public anger after tonight .
