It ’s been so long sinceAvenue 5‘sfirst seasonaired ( and a lot has happened in the world since March 2020 ) , but we do recollect a ) we savor the penny-pinching - future clowning ’s batty fiber , most of whom are trap aboard a disastrousluxury space sail ; and b ) the plot of ground ended on a hell of a cliffhanger .
The show ’s 2d and last season has a trailer at last , and thing have definitely gotten ( hilariously ) worse for everyone , especially Avenue 5 ’s rattled sea captain , played by Hugh Laurie — who still has to figure out how to tell the increasingly agitated bunch and passengers that they ca n’t reelect to Earth for eight year , rather than the intended journey length of eight calendar week . Plus , the solid food supplying is running out … and they might be on a collision course with the sunlight ?
