It seems like an improbable pairing , but offbeat vocalist - songwriter Björk is teaming up with David Attenborough , the famed English broadcaster and naturalist . Together , the two are working on a documentary film about the intersection of artwork , music , the environment , and engineering .
Called Attenborough and Björk : The Nature of Music , the doc will “ recount the history of how and why euphony has develop , our unique human relationship with it , and how technology might transform the mode we lock with it in the future . ”
The program will also show how music exists in the natural human race by showing the path it ’s used by animate being , let in the lyre bird , reed warbler , and profane whale .

It should n’t get as a accomplished surprise that Björk would work on a project like this . She looks at cutting - sharpness technology as way to make music both intuitive and approachable .
What ’s more , she has a fascination with scientific discipline , as showcased by her most recent piece of work , Biophilia . see out the television above for “ Mutual Core , ” in which she train us in the ways of seasonal faulting and the shuffling of tectonic plate .
The docudrama bulge this weekend in the UK on Channel 4 . But I ’m sure it ’ll come to North America in short club .
