It took me months , and many rewrite to figure out how to say what I desire to . relive it all , having to go to therapy , having to tell my home and Quaker about this , talking to the other women he ’s hurt , and he barely skim over through it . ”
2 days ago , I was first made aware of the experience share by Cynthia Naugle about her relationship with Border Town writer Eric Esquivel . The mode he treated her was wicked and unforgivable , and publication 5 is my last issue work on Border Town .

DC has yet to put out an official assertion explaining exactly why Border Town has been cancelled , but between Esquivel having gone gloomy on social media asmore peoplehave come forwards withstories of their ownabout off - putting interaction with him , it stands to rationality that the decision was driven by these Revelation of Saint John the Divine and subsequent side effect .

Update 8:30 p.m. : Esquivel responded to io9 ’s request for comment with the undermentioned statement :

I have been notified that DC Vertigo has canceled the ledger I was act on . My heart breaks for the Christian Bible ’s supporters , and my creative collaborators . They do n’t deserve to be negatively affected by this inauspicious situation . ”
