Arrow ’s most popular grapheme charter halfway stage in a short and charming level during which everyone is dainty to each other . It ’s moderately nerveless . For those of you who like the grueling stuff and nonsense ? There ’s plenty of that in the eternal rest of the sequence .
“ Time of Death , ” despite the minatory claim , is a light - hearted instalment . And because it star Felicity , that ’s good . The only problem is the rather sweet little principal story contrast heavily with the other patch threads – where there are some heavy moral dilemmas last on . We ’ll begin with Felicity ’s problems , and go dark later .
William Tockman , the Clock King , has engineer a theft of Kord anti - encryption technology , and is using it to institutionalise bank robberies . When one of his henchmen rifle off his schedule and murder a security department sentry go , Tockman stabs the guy to last with a 2nd deal . The trunk brings the attention of the Arrow crew .

They dangle into natural action ! And they get it on how , because at the source we see Sarah and her unbelievable BA fight both Dig and Ollie with sticks ! Then we see Sarah and Ollie and Dig liken awesome cicatrix . Then we see Ollie and Sarah , though not Dig , kiss each other before going out to get the Clock King during a heist , where Ollie manages to discontinue the theft of some money and Sarah gets a descent sample from whanging the Clock King in the head with an escrima joint .
Felicity begin to do none of these things . She also get to do no other things , because as it turns out Sarah can analyze rakehell ! And also Sarah can work computers ! Did we advert that Sarah ’s have sex with Ollie and they ’re happy together ? Felicity does n’t even get to shine at her own stuff , because the Clock King is a cyber-terrorist , who manage to get into the Arrow squad ’s system and fork out self-satisfied monologue and make the information processing system explode with a virus ( I will state that the technical school - savvy someone sitting next to me moan aloud at this ) .
In other words , Felicity is have a stinking duet of day , and the others on the team go out of their way to be nice about it . I ’ve heard that the reason no one acts like a decent homo being on world shows is it ’s boring to see people resolve conflicts fittingly , but this episode completely proves that possibility improper . For one thing , Felicity , is n’t a jerk about what ’s buy the farm on . As she ’s unhappily , guiltily clearing out dead computer equipment , Sarah has to leave for a family reunification dinner , and – in a salvo of total delusion – think it would good to have Oliver there . When Oliver hesitates , felicitousness orders them both out , take down that they ca n’t help with anything she ’s doing . While she ’s not saying anything in a nasty tonicity of vocalism , Emily Bett Rickards is great at showing that Felicity has lost her glisten , and fall back it for a specific and personal reason . Still , she wants Ollie and his fresh girlfriend to be happy .

Dig is a blamed hero . Not only does he catch on , immediately , to what ’s happening with Felicity ( and David Ramsey is dependable at bring this with a aspect ) , but he does everything he can to help her finger well while allowing her to hang on to her gravitas . ( Also , he ’s a sub in other ways . I mean , what is this character intellection ? “ Well , my brother ’s murderer is out there , plausibly kill other the great unwashed , but certain , I ’ll help you stop a savings bank robber ! And let me fix your human relationship trouble , too . I do n’t require you to be sad or anything . ” )
Sarah knows what ’s go on immediately . Granted , it ’s not insidious , what with Felicity dress up in pink spandex work - out gear and trying to thwap a practice dummy to decease , and later actually stealing Sarah ’s jacket and claim she was stale , but Sarah notes everything without getting justificative . She helps Felicity exercise punches , lets the crownwork theft go , and repeatedly asks Felicity if she desire to spill the beans .
In the end , Felicity ’s insecurity turns her temporarily boneheaded . The Arrow team has lay out a hole for the Clock King at a depository financial institution , and she goes right into it and tracks him from a computing machine in the bank . The team bring to her before the Clock King does , and it ’s the only prison term their patience wears thinly . Their reciprocal looks of , “ For crying out aloud , ” are pretty funny . Felicity gets shot in the berm advertize Sarah out of the fashion of a bullet , and take the Clock King down by using his virus to irrupt his cell phone ( so many groans from the side of the couch ) . The episode stop with everyone praise her , making sure she feel she ’s appreciate , and secretly drugging her with oxycodone so she feel hard while pose her shoulder stitched up . ( It ’s sweet in context . ) They ’re doing it not to patronize her , but because they realise that if she feels like she needs a ‘ blood-red badge of courage ’ to be part of the team , they ’re felicitous to admit it .

So yeah . Everyone work on together to make each other happy . No emotional dysfunction . Just good teamwork and people who handle about each other . Awesome .
Now let ’s get to the mess up poppycock .
Moral Question One : It turns out the Clock King is go , and is only stealing money for his sister , who take a lung transplant . He planned the heists so they would be committed without bloodshed . When one of his henchmen kills a guard , he kills the henchmen – which is the kind of justice that Ollie and the team recover satisfactory mere months ago . And yet not only do they take him down , they tell him his armed robbery are “ not ripe . ” That , I conceive , is at least problematical . Is taking money nonviolently worth saving a life ?

Moral Question Two : Quentin , thinking that Dinah is sending out romantic signal , organizes a family dinner party to encourage a reconciliation . Laurel , full of Leslie Townes Hope , agrees to host . Sarah , full of delusions , brings Ollie along – and Quentin ’s dead stop in the middle of both a word and a measure when he see to it Ollie is somewhat suspect . That ’s the last funny affair that happen during this dinner . I ca n’t describe how amiss this matter goes , or how tight it goes there . It ’s a ten elevator car wad - up seen in fast - movement . It ’s a construction demolition in mellow gravity . That dinner went supernova .
It never occur to Dinah to come back to Quentin , because she has a problem and a human in Central City . When Sarah support her , saying , “ You deserve to be felicitous . Everybody does , ” Laurel catches the feeling she gives Oliver . She implodes the dinner party , screaming at Sarah and Ollie , and yelling at her pa for wait her mammy to “ wait ” for him . Now , everything she ’s tell is lawful . It ’s godawful to solicit up with one baby then flip-flop to the other . Quentin hang up his hopes on nothing and hurt everyone . But just because something is reliable , do you have to say it ?
Moral Question Three : Ollie follow Laurel into the hallway and breaks up with her , once and ( please god ) for all . She snivel about her family problem . He whines about his family problem – you know , the one that happened because twenty years ago his female parent had an occasion that led to the birth of his beloved sister , and then lied about it to keep her category together and off the radio detection and ranging of a supervillain . How amazing . Is it me or are these people creating their own problems ? ( At least Laurel seems to realize it , reconciles with Sarah , and goes to AA with Quentin . )

Moral Question Four : Moira seems to have take up my attitude , when it hail to Ollie ’s preaching . you’re able to see the , “ Grow up , petty Lord Fauntleroy , ” in her eyes when she verbalize to him . At one head she actually says , “ This is my house . ” Meanwhile , Thea notices the bizarreness between them and fakes an pinch to get Moira and Ollie together to verbalize . Ollie grits out that Thea has sensed the stress between them ( And whose break is that , Ollie ? ) , and he ’s only keep secret to protect Thea ( You imply the same thing that Moira did , Ollie ? ) . He still hates his mother , and he wants her to get laid that at every chance . The motion is – Asshole , asshole , asshole , asshole , asshole , right ?
And then Moira usher Ollie into the living room to meet someone . . . AND IT ’S DEATHSTROKE !
