There ’s the “ magnanimous 5 ” of African game animals : lion , Panthera pardus , elephant , buffalo and rhino . One reason why hippos are the coolest ? The chompers on a matured , fully grown hippo can bite a three - meter - foresighted crocodile in one-half .
