How do you make a King Kong melodious ? Apparently just like this . Melbourne ’s Regent Theatre has retrace a elephantine King Kong for their musical adaptation of the 1933 movie , and it is completely nutso . We love it !
The elephantine Kong requires about 10 on - stage puppeteer and 3 off - stagecoach operators to make him move . And holy shit does he move . The show feature euphony by Sarah McLachlan — we ca n’t say we ’re the biggest fans of the grudge but raging shucks is that giant puppet awesome . Even when it ’s sleeping , it ’s making all these insane expressions . arrive to Broadway , large sir !
