Though they’ve run into each other at “a couple of family functions,” the mom of six says they’ve given each other a quick “hi” and a simple “nod.”

According to Janelle, she lacks “the history” with her other two sister wives and never quite developed “the affinity for them.”
“And look, we were all part of a family, we all worked hard when we were part of the same family,” she explains. “But now there just isn’t a lot in common.”
Meri, on the other hand, isn’t opposed to reconciling things and having a close relationship.

When asked if she had any interest in reforming a bond with Christine and Janelle, the reality star admits she didn’t know what their relationship would look like but is aware it would take a concerted effort.
“It’s going to take all parties involved, you know what I mean?” Meri says. “But I’m not closing any doors.”

That same month, Christine told PEOPLE of the instant connection she felt with David and recalled how she “realized that we actually had something really special” after only two dates. Despite this, the reality star knew she was bringing some baggage into their relationship.
“He has a lot of kids, and I was so worried about coming with all of my history of everything, and us and all of our kids together,” she explained.

When she finally shared her reality — that wherever she goes, Janelle also goes — she said Woolley’s reaction was better than she’d imagined.
“When I told him, I’m like, ‘I have a lot of kids and I have a sister wife, and everywhere I go, Janelle has to come with me and all of her children come with me too. There’s not just me,’” she recalled. “And he’s like, ‘OK. OK.’”
