Kelsea Balleriniappreciates “The Little Things” about her relationship withChase Stokes.
In acover story interview withFlauntreleased Monday, the country music star opened up about her relationship with theOuter Banksstar.
“When it comes to my relationship there’s a beautiful level of him showing up on tour, or at my respective award shows, and me getting to go to set and showing up to his events, where we just get to [be] each other’s support system in person," Ballerini, 30, told the magazine of Stokes, 31.
“That to me feels really safe," she added.
Elsewhere in the interview, the “How Do I Do This” singer detailed the making of her next album, which will follow her February 2023 EPRolling Up the Welcome Mat.
“I want to make a record about what it feels to be 30… what it feels like to be falling in love and feeling a new level of safety,” she said. “Having the space in my life to experience all of it first had to happen for it now to reflect in the music.”
“And it’s all women,” she added.
Ballerini and Stokes first sparked dating rumors after heposted a cuddly photo of themat the Georgia vs. TCU game at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. One month later, she revealed she slid into his DMs during aCall Her Daddypodcast interview.
“I’ve never seen his show, but I just knew of him, and I just swan dove right on in,” Ballerini said of her decision to message him. “His handle is ‘@hichasestokes,’ and I said, ‘Hi, Chase Stokes.’ "

“I was ready to open back up,” Ballerini said of dating again after her divorce. “I just felt, why not? I’ve never really dated; I don’t know how it works. I’m like, ‘Let’s just put ourselves out there; let’s just vibe.’ And it’s been fun.”
In January, the couple marked one year together on social media.
