Martha Stewartis swimming in the success of herSports Illustrated Swimsuitcover shoot, which saw the 82-year-old entrepreneur clad innine different bathing suitson the beaches of Dominican Republic.
The multi-hyphenate loved the experience so much that she tells PEOPLE she’d absolutely partake in another swimsuit shoot. But, she has her eyes set on a more revealing look — a bikini!
“I’m working on the bikini body now,” Stewart told PEOPLE on the red carpet at the 2023Footwear NewsAchievement Awards, held in New York City on Wednesday. She also revealed that her “new objective” is to work the cameras in a two-piece the next time she’s called upon to grace another cover.
Looking back at herSI Swimsuitdebut, the author and media mogul said “every day” on set in the Dominican Republic “was fun.”

Back in May, Stewart spoke with PEOPLE exclusively about how she prepped for the shoot.
“I tried on all the bathing suits and outfits the night before the shoot, and there were so many things to try on,” she said. “Youhave to throw modesty out the windowbecause they’re prodding you and pulling and straightening — so I had to grin and bear it.”
Physically, Stewart “did Pilates three, maybe four times a week and did not have a drink — no alcohol whatsoever for two months." She also continued getting regular facials and was very careful about what she put in and on her body.

“It’s important to stand up to challenges, whether they’re beauty challenges or intellectual challenges, even philanthropic challenges,” she said. “To be able to stand up and do it — to me — is so fun! And this is accomplishing something that not everybody would accomplish.”

Stewart, who presented an award to Skechers president and co-founder andFootwear Newshonoree Michael Greenberg, arrived at the awards ceremony wearing a iridescent, holiday-ready suit.
The design featured a loose-fitted blazer and wide-leg pants. She accessorized with a gold beaded necklace and earrings, as well as a metallic bag that matched her peep-toe heels.
She and her friendSnoop Dogg, outfitted in a paisley-print Skechers-branded tracksuit and sneakers, hit the carpet together hand in hand.
The duo, who have each collaborated with Skechers on their own shoe lines, then took the stage to award Greenberg.
