Teller and Sperry first met in 2013 at a party for the band The Black Keys, whom the actor said they both shared mutual friends with in a2019Vogueinterviewabout the couple’s wedding. “Keleigh had caught my eye early in the night, and we talked. I didn’t think it went well, but after a few more attempts, I got her to dance with me, and a week later, we went on a date,” he recalled at the time. “After we met, I knew she was the one.”

The couplegot engaged in 2017 while they were on a safariin South Africa. He tied a rose and a note that read, “May 11th, 2013-August 20th, 2017,” to a tree while on the trip and told her, “Today was the last day you woke up as my girlfriend,” when got down on one knee, as the couple told PEOPLE in 2017.

Teller and Sperry shared dueling posts on their social media accounts to mark Valentine’s Day last Wednesday. “The world is a better place with you in it and I’m the luckiest guy in the world to have you as my wife,” Teller wrote in his Valentine’s Day post, shared onX(formerly Twitter). “Happy 11th Vday spent loving you ❤️”
Meanwhile, Sperry shared a series of photos of the couple together toInstagram, though she did not add a caption to her post.
