Selling the OC’s Gio Helou is well-connected in the world of real estate and design, but when it comes to his own home, he leaned on wife Tiffany Helou.
The couple, who welcomed son Theodore (aka Teddy) last September, are sharing photos of the nursery in their Newport home exclusively with PEOPLE.
The Helous bought their new home while Tiffany was about six months pregnant. She designed the nursery space all on her own.

The Helous are excited to move Teddy into his nursery soon.

“Teddy spends time playing in the nursery most days and we hope to transition him to sleeping in his crib when he is 5-6 months old, which is so soon!” Gio told PEOPLE at the recent CLD PR VITAL BEING Retreat at Atrium | Abbott Kinney.
The realtor turned reality star admits becoming a first-time father was scary.

And there have been some lifestyle major changes that he and Tiffany have had to go through since Teddy’s birth.
“We’re learning as we go. We’re making mistakes, obviously, and sleeping is nonexistent, but overall, it’s amazing,” he says.
One thing Gio has learned to let go of is having his home look just like the picture-perfect properties he lists.
As for expanding their family, Gio says it’s “definitely” in the future.
“Now that we’ve broken that ice, I want at least one, hopefully, two more,” he says. “Growing up I always wanted a brother. I have two sisters that I was in the middle of. I want a girl but I’d love for him to have a brother.”
